Derby of Love
The encounters between Vienna and the Wiener Sport-Club - dubbed the "small Vienna derby" (in contrast to the "big" Vienna derby between Austria and Rapid Vienna) - developed into an absolute crowd puller due to the peaceful relation between the two fan groups and the exceptional atmosphere. Unsurprisingly, the last competitive "Derby of Love" still holds the attendance record since the stadium was completely renovated in 2005. Thanks to a special permit, 6,257 spectators watched First Vienna FC winning the derby.
