uhlsport becomes the new supplier to First Vienna FC 1894, fans vote on jersey design
From the coming season on, the blue-and-yellow will wear uhlsport jerseys. The sporting goods manufacturer from Balingen will equip all football teams of the First Vienna FC 1894, from youngsters to professionals. The agreement with the international jersey manufacturer from Germany is valid for 3 years.
"With uhlsport we have an internationally renowned and experienced partner at our side," explains Vienna CEO Thomas Loy. "We are very much looking forward to working together and can't wait to present the new jerseys," added sporting director Markus Katzer.
Fans First: Vote on the new jersey design
With the presentation of the new jersey, the team from Döbling will break new ground and let fans vote on the jersey design. On the Vienna Facebook channel next week fans will have the opportunity to choose between two different designs and vote for one of the two suggestions.
From now on, the design that gets the most votes will be proudly worn by the Vienna Family. As of the 2020/21 season, uhlsport will not only dress the professionals and youth teams, but also offer a blue and yellow portfolio of fan articles for our fans.
Over 70 years of experience
With uhlsport, Vienna was able to gain a partner with over 70 years of experience as an outfitter. The company, founded in 1948, equips professional football clubs around the world. The most prominent teams are currently the two German Bundesliga teams Fortuna Düsseldorf and 1. FC Köln.
Living legends, such as Lothar Matthäus at Inter Milan and Zinedine Zidane with Girondins Bordeaux, once wore jerseys with the uhlsport logo.
